ema introduces a new family member of capacitive sensor series: CD Type Capacitive Level Sensor with potentiometer adjustment. It features core advantages of user-friendly operation and corrosion resistance. It can not only be used as a liquid level sensor or leakage sensor, but also retains the general advantages of capacitive proximity sensors. 

Sensitivity adjustment. Simple operation. On-site quick setting
The detection range can be simply adjusted via the knob, with a maximum detection range of 15mm, which can be set according to requirement. The operation is simple. No software or dis-assembly of the housing required: Just rotate the knob for setting.
On-site quick setting can be easily completed even for large quantities in order to save time and effort.
Corrosion resistance
The material of housing is of PP (polypropylene), offering distinct advantages in corrosion resistance: The sensor resists rust and oxidation. It has excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and chemicals, such as inorganic acids, alkaline solutions, salt water, cooling liquids, cleaning agents etc., making it suitable for corrosive environments such as chemical industry, electroplating and water treatment. Its safe and non-toxic properties can be safely used in food and beverages, according with the requirements of hygienic corrosion protection.

Used as liquid level sensor or leak detection sensor
With non-contact installation, it can detect liquids through plastic pipe walls or tanks without drilling any hole so it can be used as a liquid level sensor or leakage sensor.

Compared with photoelectric switches, the advantage of ema CD type sensors are that even when inside of pipe wall becomes dirty or slightly contaminated after used for a while. ema level sensor can avoid possibility of false operation of photoelectric switches when it is happened above situation. The user only need to reset it according to the existing pipe environment to complete the setting. This specification is able to save the time and cost of pipe dis-assembly, re-installation or cleaning, and to provide the user with a flexible and effective solution.
